bend of bay considers unsolicited submissions, subject to acceptance of our “no bylines” policy. We are particularly interested in short stories of up to 19 lines of text. bend of bay also considers poems in the yahtzee form developed by one our editors. A yahtzee is a five line poem structured by sequentially rolling five dice to determine the length of each line. A line can be set as syllables or verse feet.

All submissions must be in the body of an email addressed to editors@bendofbay.org. Submissions containing attachments or sent to other email addresses will not be read.
